BACH was created in 1987, to assist the people of the Binaba area to improve upon their standard of living.The organisation initially focused on assisting women and children to improve upon their health status through preventive health educational programmes and the provision of credit to women for micro enterprise development. The provision of water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion was later added to their activities to concretise the health benefits the communities derived from their activities.
