The Savelugu Nanton Municipal Assembly Learning Alliance Platform was launched on 10th May, 2016. The District's maiden District Level Learning Alliance Platform meeting also took place on 10th June, 2016 at the Savelugu Nanton Municipal Assembly Hall in Savelugu under the under the Conrad N. Hilton funded Strengthening Local Government Capacity for Effective Water Service Delivery Project on the theme: "Promoting Sustainability of Safe Drinking Water in Ghana."
