NLLAP 44 took place on July 22, 2014 at the Erata Hotel in Accra on the theme, “The Current National Sanitation Challenges and the potential role of Endogenous Development Approach (ED) in Ghana”.  The platform hosted WaterAid Ghana (WAG) and the Center for Indigenous Development (CIKOD).

NLLAP 44 took place on July 22, 2014 at the Erata Hotel in Accra on the theme, “The Current National Sanitation Challenges and the potential role of Endogenous Development Approach (ED) in Ghana”. The platform hosted WaterAid Ghana (WAG) and the Center for Indigenous Development (CIKOD). Issues of African indigenous sciences and the potential for endogenous development and innovative strategies for including culture, local and indigenous knowledge and African worldviews in development planning was shared. Discussions focused on gaining critical appreciation of strength-based approaches to community development; and creating a better understanding on the value of culture for development.
