The 3DWSS is a unique system in the community managed water sector in Ghana. It therefore required the rethinking of a management model to manage this system, especially because of: The complexity of the design of the water scheme,The anticipated large number of communities to be connected to the scheme.The ownership rights of the scheme because of the multiplicity of Districts and communities involved.
