National Level Learning Alliance Platform (NLLAP)

The NLLAP is a WASH sector multi stakeholder platform with the overall goal of improving sector learning and dialogue. It is hosted by the Ghana WASH Resource Centre Network (RCN). The platform offers learning and sharing opportunity for sector players as one of the practical approaches to improving sector engagements/sharing with the long term aim of achieving a knowledge driven WASH sector that delivers quality and sustainable services in Ghana. NLLAP meetings are organized and facilitated by the Ghana WASH Resource Centre Network (RCN), and take place on the last Thursday of every month. They are open to all interested parties. The discussions of each NLLAP meeting are summarized and shared with the wider WASH community in the form of a communiqué, named WASH Reflections, after the meeting. The topics of upcoming meetings are decided on by the RCN secretariat. Find here copies of your up-to-date WASH Reflections 

23rd NLLAP(Beyond the statistics about water service delivery to people’s live experiences-SenseMaker Approach)

The 23rd National Level Learning Alliance Platform,which was the first for the year 2012 hosted the CWSA/Triple-S under the theme, "Beyond the statistics about water service delivery to people’s live experiences-Sense Maker Approach".

22nd National Level Learning Alliance Platform (2nd WASH Sector Performance Report in Ghana)

On the 24th of November 2011, the 22nd National Level Learning Alliance Platform took place at Erata hotel in Accra to Review of the 2nd WASH Sector Performance Report in Ghana.

21st National Level Learning Alliance Platform (The application of water and sanitation project implementation cycle & impact on long-term sustainability in Ghana)

The 21st National Level Learning Alliance Platform hosted the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA)/Triple-S project to share under the theme, the application of water and sanitation project implementation cycle & impact on long-term sustainability in Ghana.

20th National Level Learning Alliance Platform (National Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Strategy for the Urban Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sub Sector in Ghana )

The 20th National Level Learning Alliance Platform took place at the Coconut Groove Regency Hotel, Accra, on Wednesday september28th under the theme National Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Strategy for the Urban Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sub Sector in Ghana

19th National Level Learning Alliance (Mapping Transparency, Accountability & Participation in Service Delivery: An Analysis of the Water Supply Sector in Ghana)

The 19th  National Level Learning Alliance Platform (NLLAP) hosted The Ghana Integrity Initiative(GII) ,the Local Chapter of Transparency International(TI), which shared under the theme, Mapping Transparency, Accountability & Participation in Service Delivery: An Analysis of the Water Supply Sector in Ghana.

18th NLLAP(The Right to Water and Sanitation in Ghana: A National Action Plan for Implementation)

The 18th National Learning Alliance platform hosted the Coalition of NGOs in Water and Sanitation (CONIWAS) on the theme, The Right to Water and Sanitation in Ghana: A National Action Plan for Implementation

17th NLLAP(The State of Urban Water Management in Ghana: Challenges and Way forward )

The National Learning Alliance platform hosted  the Coalition of NGOs in water and sanitation and the SWITCH project to share views on the current state of urban water management, challenges and way forward. The presentations were smoothed with a panel discussion comprising of NGOs, KUNST, GWCL, NCAP, private sector who shared on specific proposals to improve the management of urban water in Accra. The learning alliance took place on 29th of June 2011, at Coconut Groove regency Accra.

16th NLLAP ( WASH Sector financing in Ghana)

The GrassRoot Africa Foundation/CONIWAS led the WASH Budget Tracking for 2010 and reviewing the framework for future budget tracking discussion with the objective of sharing,learning and sharing meeting on the theme, Wash Sector Financing in Ghana. on 26th/may/2011 at the Coconut Groove Hotel Accra.The WASH Resource Centre Network (RCN) Ghana, in collaboration with the WD, MWRWH hosted the learning event. 

15th NLLAP (A review of the first WASH sector performanace Report in Ghana)

The Resource Centre Network Ghana (RCNG), in collaboration with the Water Directorate, MWRWH, hosted The Water andSanitation Monitoring Platform (WSMP) team to lead a participatory discussion and  review of the 1st WASH Sector Performance Report in Ghana with the objective to share the sector performance report and review the framework for future performance reports. The learning event (NLLAP) took place at Coconut Groove Regency Hotel in Accra.

14th NLLAP ( Scaling up sanitation in Ghana; A case of community-led total sanitation

The National sanitation working Group lead a community-led total sanitation discussion at 14th NLLAP. Featuring a special guest Dr. Kamal Kar the originator of the sanitation approach. The theme of the session was Scaling up sanitation in Ghana. A case of CTLS. Dr Kamal shared the experiences and lesson learnt in the practice of CLTS. The NLLAP took place at the Coconut Grove regency Hotel Accra on the 4th of March. The NLLAP is organized by Resource Centre Network.
