Mole Conference Series

Mole Conference is  one of the longest running and biggest multi-stakeholder annual platforms in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in Ghana. The Platform, named after the venue of the maiden edition, Mole in the Northern Region of Ghana, is organised by the Coalition of NGOs in Water and Sanitation (CONIWAS) and brings together sector practitioners from NGOs, Government, Private Operators, Networks, CBOs, CSOs, etc. to dialogue, learn and share information on specific themes that affect the sector. 28th Mole Conference, 2017

The 2017 edition of the Mole Conference, which was under the theme: Ghana’s Lower Middle Income Status: Implications for Sustainable WASH Services Delivery” took place in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, from 2nd - 6th October 2017.This year's Mole Conference focused on providing information to participants on various WASH policies and programmes, advocate for the improvement of sustainable financing to the WASH sector and attract private sector investment with a view to improving WASH service delivery in Ghana. 21st Mole Conference

Climate change, which has been described as the most defining human development issue of today’s generation, was the focus of the 21st Mole Conference (Mole XXI) which came off in Accra from 20th to 23rd July, 2010. The conference was on the theme: Global Climate Change: A Challenge for the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Sector in Ghana.

20th Mole Conference

The twentieth edition of the Mole Conference series took place in the Volta Regional Capital of Ghana, Ho, from July 14-18, 2009. This year’s conference was under the theme, “ 20 years of multi-stakeholder dialogue in Ghana: The State of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Sector”.
